Thanksgiving Cards for Business Clients

Yes. A Thanksgiving card arrives before the December rush, when there's less mail competing with it, and gratitude is the point of the holiday, so a thank-you to clients fits naturally. Mail Thanksgiving cards between November 9 and November 17 so they arrive before Thanksgiving on November 26. Order cards with your logo and message from 25 cards, or have us print, address and mail them for you from 100 recipients.

Why Thanksgiving works for client cards

  • It arrives first. A card that lands in mid-November isn't one of a dozen on the desk.
  • The message writes itself. Thanking clients is what the holiday is about.
  • It fits a mixed list. It's a secular U.S. holiday, so there's no question of which December holiday to name.
  • It frees up December. Your team isn't addressing envelopes during the busiest weeks of the year.

When to mail

Mail between November 9 and November 17. USPS First-Class Mail takes 1 to 5 days, so a card mailed on November 17 still arrives before Thanksgiving.

If you're mailing the cards yourself, production takes 5 to 7 business days from October through December, plus 2 to 5 business days for UPS Ground, plus time to address and stamp. To mail by November 17, order by about October 23.

If we're mailing them for you, pick a mail-by date, the day your cards go to USPS. The earliest date you can choose is 14 days out, and Thanksgiving mailings run through the week of November 16.

Week of Mail-by days Availability
Oct 26 Oct 26 to Oct 31 Full
Nov 2 Nov 2 to Nov 7 Full

What to write

Two or three sentences: thank them, wish them a happy Thanksgiving, and close warmly.

  • This Thanksgiving, we're grateful for clients like you. Wishing you a happy holiday with the people you love.
  • Thank you for your trust this year. We hope your Thanksgiving is warm, relaxed and full of good food.
  • Among the things we're thankful for this year: working with you. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at [Firm Name].
  • Wishing you and your family a Thanksgiving full of gratitude, good company and rest.
  • Gratitude is the best part of our work. Thank you for being part of it. Happy Thanksgiving.
